Santosh Iyer, Founder
Santosh Iyer pioneered Medical Device Hatchery as a means to empower young minds to pursue exciting work in medical devices and surgical robotics. He completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Toronto in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Surgical Robotics. Santosh is currently an MBA student at Harvard Business School, developing new technology applications in healthcare AI and autonomous robotics for surgery. In his free time, he enjoys working out, trying new restaurants in San Francisco, and travelling with his wife.
Divya Chari, Clinical Director
Divya Chari serves as the Clinical Director for Medical Device Hatchery. She oversees clinical program development, fosters partnerships with hospitals and academic research insitutions, and organizes guest lectures by physicians and surgeons. Divya completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Yale University and went on to pursue her medical education at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is now a resident in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Divya can be found running, exploring the Bay Area culinary scene, and occasionally escaping to Lake Tahoe for a ski trip.
